'Dexter' is leaving Netflix: Where to watch the beloved Michael C. Hall slasher series online

Dexter Morgan’s story continues. Fans who tuned in for the finale of 2021’s Dexter: New Blood might have thought they’d witnessed the end of their beloved serial killer. But that’s not the case! Paramount+ with Showtime is bringing us a new series, cleverly titled Dexter: Resurrection, which follows Dexter (Michael C. Hall) as he tracks his son Harrison to New York City after surviving a serious gunshot wound.

According to Paramount+, “When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (David Zayas) shows up with questions, Dexter becomes aware that his past is rapidly closing in on him. As father and son explore their own darkness in the city that never sleeps, they soon find themselves deeper than ever before — and discover that their only escape is together.”

In case you need a reminder, it was Harrison who shot (and seemingly killed) Dexter in the New Blood finale, so their father/son reunion in Resurrection promises to be quite intriguing.

If you were planning on a Dexter rewatch before Dexter: Resurrection premieres on Paramount+ with Showtime (July 11), well, we have some bad news: The original series is leaving Netflix.
