Druski sparks outrage after dressing as Erika Kirk in latest viral skit: 'This is too far'

Controversial comedian Druski has sparked a new wave of criticism with his latest viral skit, where he impersonates Erika, the widow of Charlie Kirk. Many have labeled his performance as “disgusting” and “utterly disrespectful” to a woman in mourning.

The comedian, known for his bold humor, adopted a striking appearance for the skit, painting his skin, donning a white suit, blue contact lenses, and blonde hair. This was part of his parody titled “How Conservative Women in America Act,” targeting the Turning Point USA CEO. The video has already amassed over 40 million views across social media platforms.

In the skit, Druski’s portrayal of “Erika” begins with her energetically dancing amidst pyrotechnics, mimicking the atmosphere of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service. He then fields questions from reporters regarding the Iran conflict, parodying the style of White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Druski also took aim at Erika’s notable body language during a CBS News town hall last December, which had previously drawn attention for its intensity.

In the video, Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, declares, “I serve a righteous God, and that is why we say our prayers. We are all his children, and when I say children, I mean the holy blessed Trinity, which is why I hold the Bible.”

He continues, “We have to protect all men in America, especially the white men in America. Those are the ones we care about. Yes, because they are the ones who matter most.”

Druski, who also wore “whiteface” in September last year to portray a racist NASCAR fan, was then seen ordering an organic “pup cup” and struggling in a Pilates class.

Scores of fans were left in hysterics, but the depiction struck a nerve among others.

“This is too far man… You were completely disrespectful during NFL Honors & now you’re making fun of Erika Kirk, whose husband was brutally assassinated. This ain’t it,” conservative commentator Jon Root wrote on X.

“Of all conservatives women in America why her? This woman is [still] grieving,” another X user wrote.

“Is this a joke? You think this is funny? Making fun of Erika Kirk? You’re a disgusting piece of you know what,” added a third.

Druski came under heavy criticism in February after butchering Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s name while presenting him with the the Offensive Player of the Year Award. The comic later said he had reached out to Smith-Njigba to apologize but had not heard back.

Erika Kirk has not commented on the bit.
