CHICAGO (WLS) — A judge on Wednesday found four men not guilty in a violent brawl outside a South Side restaurant last summer, court records show.
Andrew Fedyk, Harry Kenny, Frank Paris, and John Powers IV, all 20 years old at the time of the incident, were found not guilty of aggravated battery charges following a bench trial held in April.

They were accused of attacking several workers at Barraco’s restaurant, in the 3000-block of West 111th Street in Mount Greenwood, on June 23, 2024.
Prosecutors said the men were asked to leave the restaurant before a fight ensued.
Restaurant owner Nick Barraco, who is in his 60s, suffered a fractured skull and brain bleed in the incident.
During the trial, defense attorneys for the accused argued that their clients were not the instigators of the altercation. They presented video evidence to the judge, suggesting that the employees at Barraco’s were the ones who initiated the fight.
Alderman Matt O’Shea of the 19th Ward said he saw the video.
“However, make no mistake, those four individuals, those men, orchestrated the entire event,” O’Shea stated. “They are the reason Nick Barraco ended up spending three-and-a-half days in the intensive care unit.”
