The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the capture of an 18-year-old implicated in the shooting death of a Capitol Hill intern in Washington, D.C.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Naqwan Antonio Lucas, 18, from Granby, Massachusetts, who is wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for premeditated first-degree murder while armed.

In addition to the usual reward, the FBI’s Washington Field Office and the U.S. Marshals Service have both pledged extra amounts, with an additional $15,000 from the FBI and $10,000 from the Marshals, raising the total reward to $50,000 for the apprehension of Naqwan Lucas.
Officials advise anyone with knowledge of Naqwan Lucas’ whereabouts to avoid taking any action themselves and instead contact the police at 202-727-9099 or send a text tip to 50411.
