Dem Insiders Reportedly Furious That DNC Chose to Bury Report About '24 Election Failures

In a surprising move, Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin has reportedly decided against releasing a detailed report on the party’s 2024 election efforts. According to Nick Arama from RedState, the contents of the report were deemed too damaging for public consumption. This decision seems at odds with the Democrats’ usual advocacy for transparency, as they choose to withhold insights into their electoral shortcomings. The report apparently highlights a significant misstep in the presidential race, despite Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign expenditures reaching an eye-watering $1.5 billion, all while receiving favorable coverage from mainstream media aiming to bolster her image.

The party’s choice to conceal these insights suggests a reluctance to confront and learn from their electoral failures. Instead of using the report as a tool for growth, they appear to be sidestepping accountability altogether.

However, this decision has not been well-received by everyone within the party. Various insiders, as indicated by reports and social media discussions, have expressed their dissatisfaction with the leadership’s approach.

DNC Chair Ken Martin Admits Party Has Hit ‘Rock Bottom,’ Somehow Pretends This Is a Good Thing

The discontent among party members suggests a growing frustration with the current strategy, as some insiders voice their concerns over this apparent lack of transparency and accountability.

Insiders are reportedly fuming:

One insider told The Hill the party has a habit of “gloss[ing] things over” and pretending “nothing to see here,” adding, “And that’s how we lose elections.”

Another prominent Democrat, strategist Jamal Simmons, argued that volunteers, donors, and voters “deserve to know what went wrong” and that the DNC should tell them.

That criticism goes to the heart of what conservatives have long argued, that the Democrat Party is increasingly run like a brand-management operation, quick to message and slow to confront reality.

Here’s how a social media user who describes himself as a “Lifelong Dem” reacted:

Hiding the 2024 autopsy report isn’t coming across like strategy, it looks like fear of hard truths.

So far the lesson we read about from 2024 is “we lost white men,” that’s not analysis, that’s avoidance. Real questions are being buried, how did the free Palestine movement affect votes, coalition fractures, messaging failures, trust. You don’t fix those by suppressing evidence. You fix them by showing your work.

Democratic candidate for Governor of New Hampshire Jon Kiper says Martin just needs to walk away:

This is typical Democrat behavior: when things don’t go their way, they try to hide the evidence and avoid accountability. Luckily, we’ll be here to remind them of their blunders at every opportunity.

Editor’s Note: America dodged a bullet when Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris at the ballot box.
