In a new development for the Jacksonville Jaguars, linebacker Devin Lloyd is set to make an appearance in the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, stepping in for Pittsburgh Steelers’ T.J. Watt, who is sidelined due to an injury.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The San Francisco stage is about to witness another standout from Duval County as the Jaguars proudly send Devin Lloyd to the prestigious Pro Bowl Games. The announcement came on Thursday, confirming Lloyd’s addition to the roster.

Initially named as a Pro Bowl alternate, Lloyd now takes the spot of T.J. Watt, who can no longer participate due to health concerns. This opportunity follows Lloyd’s recent accolade as a second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press. Joining him in representing Jacksonville will be long snapper Ross Matiscik.

Over the course of the season, Lloyd has been a formidable force on the field. Starting in 15 games, he amassed an impressive array of statistics: 74 tackles, 10 hits on the quarterback, seven passes defensed, six tackles for loss, and five interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. Additionally, he recorded 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovery. His performance places him in elite company, as he is only the second player in the past two decades to achieve at least 10 quarterback hits along with five interceptions in a single season, a feat last accomplished by Lavonte David in 2013.

Reflecting on Lloyd’s season, Jaguars general manager James Gladstone praised his contributions and growth. “He had such an impactful season. What he meant to our end result was certainly notable,” Gladstone remarked during the end-of-season press conference. “The way in which he operated on a daily, weekly basis was really cool to watch and observe. He committed himself to being the best version. The connection between him, the coaching staff was real. He was being deployed in the right ways.”
