In a dramatic turn of events, a left-wing protest in a Minnesota neighborhood escalated to violence when an anti-ICE activist allegedly struck an immigration enforcement agent with her SUV. This led to an exchange of gunfire that resulted in the death of the woman involved.

The individual has been identified as 37-year-old Renee Good. Her death has sparked a heated response from state Democrats, who quickly pointed fingers at ICE. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz were swift to assign blame, opting to criticize the immigration agency before the full details of the incident had emerged.

Governor Walz has gone as far as to prepare for potential unrest, reminiscent of the 2020 George Floyd protests, by stating he would deploy the National Guard if necessary. This precautionary measure comes amid concerns that the incendiary rhetoric from leaders like Frey and Walz could incite further turmoil among protesters.
