Disney Adventure World debuts at Disneyland Paris: World of Frozen and Adventure Bay spark a bold new era for the resort

Disneyland Paris has embarked on an exciting new journey with the unveiling of its latest attraction, World of Frozen. This marks the beginning of a significant expansion and the rebranding of the resort’s second theme park, now known as Disney Adventure World.

The revamped park is designed to captivate visitors through immersive storytelling experiences. Central to this transformation is Adventure Way, a beautifully landscaped promenade featuring the “Raiponce Tangled Spin” ride and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. This scenic path leads visitors to Adventure Bay, home to the spectacular “Disney Cascade of Lights” nighttime show.

The launch event was nothing short of thrilling, with Spider-Man making a dramatic appearance atop the park’s Earffel Tower to announce the new name, Disney Adventure World. The celebration kicked off with children and families from the Make-A-Wish foundation being the first to explore the new attractions.

Inside the enchanting World of Frozen, guests were transported to a meticulously recreated Arendelle. Highlights of this magical land include the “Frozen Ever After” ride, the “A Celebration in Arendelle” stage show, and the Nordic Crowns Tavern, offering a menu inspired by the flavors of Scandinavia.

The grand opening was graced by a welcome ceremony led by key Disney figures: Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences; Thomas Mazloum, President of Disney Experiences; and Natacha Rafalski, the President of Disneyland Paris.

“Disney Adventure World will be renowned as a place where guests can immerse themselves in the beloved stories of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar,” Mazloum stated during the festivities.

The celebration featured a performance by singer Santa, who played a piano while singing “Into the Unknown” from “Frozen 2.” Joining Santa, A 10-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient named Lou joined the performance for a duet of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” alongside a robotic Olaf.

The day also included appearances by international celebrities, including “Emily in Paris” stars Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat, and Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

Guests can now step into the magic themselves as Disney Adventure World and the World of Frozen are officially open to the public at Disneyland Paris.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney Parks and this ABC station.
