A player from the North Dakota State University football team has been removed from the roster following accusations of him taking a duffel bag filled with luxury goods valued at over $270,000 during the Fourth of July weekend in Minnesota.
William Frattalone, 20, is charged with one count of felony theft of property valued over $35,000, according to jail records.
The criminal complaint details that Frattalone allegedly took a designer duffel bag from a boat at Maynard’s Restaurant on Lake Minnetonka, roughly 25 miles away from Minneapolis, as reported by FOX 9.

In a statement to FOX 9, NDSU head coach Tim Polasek declared, “William Frattalone has been removed from the NDSU football roster due to a breach of team regulations. He was excluded from the 123 players named for fall camp and will not be permitted to rejoin the team in any capacity.”
Frattalone is slated to have his initial court appearance on September 11. His attorney did not promptly reply to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.
