In a dramatic incident at a Florida airport, a United Airlines flight encountered a “mechanical issue,” resulting in the aircraft noticeably tipping forward on the runway. This startling event, which was captured on video, reportedly involved a component of the plane detaching, authorities and reports indicated.
United Flight 2323, originating from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, successfully arrived at Orlando International Airport on Sunday afternoon, as confirmed by a United Airlines representative. However, upon touchdown, the plane encountered mechanical difficulties, necessitating the transportation of passengers to the terminal via bus, the spokesperson explained.
Disturbing footage shared on social media captured the moment when the aircraft, carrying 200 passengers and six crew members, pitched forward just after landing. The video further showed a small section from the front of the plane, suspected by users to be the nose wheel, detaching and rolling into the adjacent field.
Despite the chaotic scene, no injuries were reported, as confirmed by authorities. The aircraft was subsequently removed from the runway, ensuring a return to normal operations.
A small part of the front of the plane, which users speculated was the nose wheel, then appeared to roll off the aircraft and spin into the surrounding field, the clip showed.
No injuries were reported from the chaotic incident, authorities added. The aircraft was cleared from the runway.

A brief ground stop was issued at Orlando International Airport after the plane blocked off the runway, and was later changed to a ground delay, according to Fox10.
There appeared to be no delays at the airport as of Sunday evening, according to FAA data.
It’s not clear what the exact mechanical issue the plane experienced was.
The FAA did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
