A small plane crash in Florida was captured in a dramatic home security video.
Video captured on Sunday near North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines depicted a Cessna crashing into a tree within a residential area. Following the collision, residents quickly mobilized to rescue the family of four on board, as reported by WSVN.
“You could hear it slowing down, and then it just crashed into the tree,” Eddie Crispin, a bystander, described to the station. “Once it hit the tree, we were certain that the plane had crashed into it and then fell to the ground. The neighbor from across the street had a fire extinguisher and was attempting to put out the flames.
“The neighbor where the plane landed used a water hose to spray down the aircraft. Another person arrived with an axe, trying to break the window. Everyone was working together simultaneously. But we did manage to pull them out one by one,” he added.
