A dramatic scene unfolded at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid International Airport on Monday when a tire detached from a plane just moments after takeoff. The incident was caught on video and has since stirred considerable attention.
The unnerving event occurred around 8:45 p.m. local time, involving British Airways flight 274, as noted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Video footage captured the aircraft ascending into the sky before a wheel was seen tumbling to the ground soon after the plane lifted off the runway.

According to FAA representatives, the Airbus A350 continued its journey to Heathrow Airport in London, where it “landed safely.”
The Airbus A350, known for its wide-body design, is a modern aircraft tailored for long-haul international flights and remains among the newest additions to commercial aviation fleets.
