In a remarkable incident this week in New Jersey, an elderly woman escaped with only minor injuries after a freight train collided with her vehicle.
The 82-year-old woman, unaware she was halted on the tracks, had stopped her car on Wednesday afternoon when she noticed the flashing lights signaling an approaching train, as reported by The Patch.
With the woman still inside, the CSX freight train pushed her vehicle a quarter of a mile down the tracks before it managed to come to a halt.

In a twist of fate, the woman emerged from the ordeal with just a minor leg injury. She was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
