The way the left freaks out over Elon Musk is so disingenuous. 

Here’s the world’s richest man, who has so many other things he could be doing, who’s put so much on the line in his effort to help the country with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). But instead of acknowledging that and celebrating the effort to cut waste, they lose their minds and make up all kinds of lies about him. 

The left keeps hoping they can shove a wedge between Musk and Trump, probably hoping they can cut off his support of Trump. But it isn’t working very well. 

Here was one poor attempt that got busted by Community Notes and reality. 

It has been noticeable, to me at least, that Elon Musk is being marginalized in the WH. Trump is holding a cabinet meeting today and Musk won’t be there. He hasn’t been around all week as far as I’ve been able to tell. It seems the Wisconsin election caused his star to fade.

Of course, Elon was at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday. Not only that, but he had a little fun trolling the media in the process.

He had a little laugh at that. 

Some of them did notice it, including a Fox Business reporter.

Musk also had some important things to present that, of course, most of the liberal media wasn’t going to focus on as much — the savings DOGE has achieved. It’s normal to have speakers at Cabinet meetings, and he was there to bring them the positive news.

$150 billion, and this is just what they have found so far. There will likely be more savings before and after fiscal year 2026 since they’re stopping the expenditures, but Musk was just talking about that year. He mentioned how some of the waste was “absurd”- like the incredible findings about unemployment being paid out for people who hadn’t even been born yet. 

He explained that all they had to do to find the waste and fraud was move in any direction because it was such a “target rich environment.” He said their efforts were going to make things more “sensible,” and to provide “better services” for the American people. President Trump then praised the work of the DOGE team and said he hoped they would stick around.
