Sip, Shuck & Savor in the  Sinor-LaVallee Wine Tasting Room

AVILA BEACH, Calif — For an ideal coastal pairing, nothing beats world-class wine and freshly shucked oysters. Sinor-LaVallee Wine Company offers both at their tasting room in Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo County, along California’s scenic coast.

Master winemaker Mike Sinor, known for bold and expressive Pinot Noir, shares, “My purpose as a winemaker is to create a wine that speaks to someone.”

Sinor-LaVallee Wine Tasting Room features The Backyard Shuck Shack, created from a passion for oysters and their surrounding culture.

This delightful new space started as a simple “U-Shuck” experience and evolved into a thoughtfully curated menu. Picture a 5-plate cheese and charcuterie board from local creators, fresh bread and butter from Grover Beach Sourdough, California caviar service, and a selection of artisanal tinned fish.

Regular patron Nita Sanchez from Fresno describes, “It’s a really nice atmosphere, perfect for a couple to sit at the bar or at a table and enjoy each other’s company.”

Whether enjoying a briny oyster, creamy caviar, or raising a glass of their distinguished Pinot, a visit to the Sinor-LaVallee Wine Tasting Room feels like a perfect retreat.
