The FBI recently gained some formidable allies in the form of top-tier UFC fighters.
In a unique collaboration, several UFC athletes visited the FBI’s training facility in Quantico, Virginia, earlier this month to conduct a mixed martial arts training session.
Renowned fighters Chris Weidman, Justin Gaethje, Michael Chandler, Jorge Masvidal, Manel Kape, and Claudia Gadelha teamed up to deliver an intensive combat seminar for FBI recruits.
Images shared on the official UFC Instagram account captured the fighters engaging in rigorous training sessions with the agents-in-training, including grappling exercises on the mat.
FBI Director Kash Patel was present to observe as Weidman and Gaethje shared techniques to help the recruits effectively fend off potential threats.
The UFC stars also had the opportunity to experience aspects of FBI life firsthand, handling some high-powered weaponry and even getting a tour in a helicopter.
It’s unclear if the gathering was a one-time event or more will follow.
