FBI investigating Flygirl World Travel, Chicago travel agent Laticha Douglas, accused of defrauding vacationers: ABC7 I-Team

CHICAGO (WLS) — The FBI is now investigating a Chicago-based travel agency that the ABC7 I-Team reported on last week.

Reports from individuals nationwide claim the company’s proprietor, Laticha Douglas, accepted payments for trips but did not book the corresponding reservations.

In recent correspondence with clients, the travel agent confessed that her business had shut down, admitting to poor business decisions but insisting there was no intention to defraud.
