JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The heart of Johnson City is adding a touch of luxury with the grand opening of a new yarn and fiber boutique that promises to inspire both seasoned crafters and beginners eager to learn.

“All Things Fibre” is set to softly launch its doors to the public on Monday evening, from 6 to 9 p.m., at its new location, 240 East Main Street, Suite 101.

Susan Borders, the visionary behind the store, shared that her shop will feature an array of high-quality, yet affordable, yarns and fibers. In addition to these exquisite materials, the boutique will also provide a variety of crafting essentials.

  • Alpaca
  • Silk
  • Cashmere
  • Mohair
  • Knitting, crochet, needle felting and spinning accessories

Beyond offering premium products, “All Things Fibre” aims to be a learning hub. Borders announced that the shop will host classes in crochet, spinning, and fabric blending, inviting participants to dive into these creative crafts.

A charming detail about the shop is that all the spinning wheels have their own names. Among them is “Abigail,” with photos showcasing the interior of the cozy boutique.
