The victims, Tippecanoe Superior Court Judge Steven Meyer and his wife Kimberly Meyer, were assaulted in their Lafayette home on Sunday afternoon. Steven Meyer sustained an arm injury, while Kimberly Meyer was wounded in the hip. Both are receiving medical care, as per law enforcement reports.

The individuals apprehended in connection with the assault have been identified as Raylen Ferguson, 38, Thomas Moss, 43, Blake Smith, 32, Amanda Milsap, 45, and Zenada Greer, 61. Their arrests mark a significant development in the ongoing investigation.

Efforts to reach a spokesperson for the Lafayette police to obtain further details on the charges and investigation were unsuccessful as of Friday.

As of Friday morning, public records did not list any attorneys for the accused. Thomas Moss and Amanda Milsap are currently held at the Tippecanoe County Jail in Indiana, while Zenada Greer is detained at the Fayette County Detention Center in Kentucky, all without the option of bail.

Ferguson, Moss and Smith each face at least nine felony charges, including attempted murder, according to court records. Milsap faces charges of bribery and obstruction of justice and Zenada faces charges of assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice.
