A shooting outside a bar in Cleveland, Ohio, on Sunday evening resulted in five people being injured, including an individual believed to be a suspect, according to officials.

The event occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 10th Street, close to The Flats, a central waterfront neighborhood. Initial investigations indicate the shooting stemmed from a dispute within a nearby bar, as reported by the Cleveland Division of Police.

“Preliminary investigation reveals that an altercation inside the nearby bar developed into a shooting outside,” the Cleveland Division of Police stated in an email to Fox News Digital.

Officers did not announce any arrests on Sunday night but mentioned that the investigation is still in progress, and further details will be shared as they become available.

Back in July, three police officers were hospitalized, and one individual was killed following a shooting in an industrial area of Lorain, Ohio. Lorain Police, engaging in proactive patrolling in the vicinity, encountered a man and exchanged gunfire with him at the cul-de-sac of River Bend Drive, Elyria Police Chief James Welsh told reporters at the time.

The Cleveland Division of Fire did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
