A Florida woman was recently arrested after allegedly performing unlicensed dental work in multiple counties.
Emely Martinez, aged 35, faces accusations of causing infections and injuring teeth by applying fake veneers using cyanoacrylate glue, commonly known as “crazy or superglue,” according to investigators.
Martinez is charged with fraud and practicing dentistry without a license, among other offenses.

Authorities said she may have changed her name and created additional businesses to hide the fraud, according to the report.
In 2024, the American Dental Association released a warning indicating that procedures carried out by unauthorized veneer technicians could lead to “permanent damage.”
