FOX News reporter Brooke Singman has announced she’s engaged to GOP lawmaker Guy Reschenthaler.
The politician proposed to the journalist in a touching moment in Central Park.
The couple were by the lake when Reschenthaler, who represents Pennsylvania’s 14th Congressional District, popped the question.
“I said yes to the love of my life,” Singman, a political correspondent, wrote on Instagram as she shared a snap of the moment on Sunday.
She has been inundated with well-wishes following news of her engagement from her Fox News colleagues.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s White House press secretary, and Alina Habba, the interim US Attorney for New Jersey, have both liked the snap.
“So excited for you both,” Kieghan Nangle, the executive assistant to Leavitt, wrote online.
Jacqui Henrich, Fox News’ senior White House correspondent, said: “Congratulations.”
Fox News stars Lisa Boothe and Aishah Hasnie also wished the couple well.
“Wow,” Todd Piro, a co-anchor on Fox and Friends First, wrote on Instagram.
Sources told Page Six that Singman and Reschenthaler met during a Trump campaign stop in Pennsylvania during the election.
But, they didn’t start dating until January 2025, according to the insiders.
In March, the couple enjoyed a dinner and an insider claimed: “The dynamic looked romantic in nature.”
Reschenthaler separated from his wife in November last year, according to reports.
RISING STAR
Singman has kept her relationship with the politician out of the public eye, sharing few snaps on her social media.
In June, she shared a picture that showed the couple smiling at The Polo Bear – A Ralph Lauren restaurant, located in New York City.
Meanwhile, Reschenthaler shared a throwback snap of the couple with Donald Trump in a post marking the president’s birthday.
He has served in the House of Representatives since January 2019.
Reschenthaler previously served in the Pennsylvania state senate between 2015 and 2019.
He was in the US Navy between 2008 and 2012.
Since 2014, Singman has been a part of Fox News, making appearances on programs like Fox & Friends First, Fox & Friends, and Mornings with Maria, which is broadcast on the Fox Business network.
Her reporting has seen her break exclusives on both the Biden and Trump administrations.
During her tenure, she has conducted interviews with prominent political figures such as Trump, former vice president Mike Pence, and John Bolton, who was the national security adviser during Trump’s first term.
She has reported on three presidential election campaigns and two midterm elections during her time at Fox News.
Singman graduated Boston University in 2014 with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science, according to her Fox News bio.
She formerly worked for the Boston Neighborhood Network News service.
