The excitement has been palpable throughout the city all week, despite the looming threat of icy temperatures.
Forecast
As game day approaches, snow showers are expected to accompany the kickoff, with temperatures predicted to hover in the teens and wind chills dropping into single digits.
According to forecasts from ABC7 meteorologists, the thermometer is set to read a chilly 17 degrees at kickoff, while the wind chill is likely to make it feel closer to 8 degrees.
While the Bears are no strangers to playing in freezing conditions, the chilly climate is far less familiar to the LA Rams, whose Californian base seldom sees such cold.
How the Rams will handle the biting cold remains an intriguing question as the game draws near.
