Lawyers Says FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried Needs Vegan Food And Computer To Prep For Trial In Jail|AP News

During a court hearing in Manhattan, the lawyers expressed their complaints after FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, pleaded not guilty to seven charges.

The said charges include wire fraud and multiple conspiracy counts, and that FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is set to face trial on October 3rd.

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried’s lawyers told the magistrate judge that thr FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried lacks access to computers, necessary medications to help the FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried to concentrate, and a proper diet which is limited to bread, water, and peanut butter.

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, is accused of embezzling billions of dollars from FTX customer deposits.

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried used the said stolen funds for his businesses, make speculative venture investments, donate to charities, and unlawfully contribute to political campaigns in an attempt to influence cryptocurrency regulations in Washington.

During the hearing, Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn stated that she would not change the rulings made by Kaplan regarding FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried’s computer access, CBS 42 reports.

However, Netburn promised to look into the possibility of arranging for the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to provide the FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried his medications and a vegan diet that aligns better with the defendant’s preferences, CBS 42 added.
