The cast thanks fans, jokes about cancellations, and previews Hulu’s full-season drop coming this September.

SAN DIEGO — The “Futurama” crew of actors and writers were all about laughter and cheer at San Diego Comic-Con. They jestingly referred to the show’s frequent cancellations while celebrating its latest season return.

“This is our third resurrection,” voice actor Maurice LaMarche said. “We’re glad to be back-hopefully we stick around a little bit longer.”

Phil LaMarr, who voices Hermes, teased what’s next: “More Futurama, same cast.”

Beyond the humor, the team shared heartfelt thanks to the fans who have sustained the show’s existence. “It’s wonderful to give back to the fans because they are the reason we keep returning,” commented Lauren Tom. “It’s rewarding to have face-to-face moments to express our gratitude.”

Despite the show’s multiple cancellations, “Futurama” maintains a dedicated fanbase. “It’s perfect for binge-watching,” noted Trista Flores, a devoted fan from San Diego. “You’ll be laughing from the first episode to the last. There’s simply no going wrong with this series.”

With the original voice cast back-including Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio and more-“Futurama “is ready once again to defy the odds.

The animated sci-fi comedy is set to return to Hulu this fall for Season 13. Unlike previous seasons, all 10 episodes will drop at once, premiering September 15 at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
