Gott’s Roadside, a revered Northern California staple that has transformed from a modest roadside stand to a James Beard Award-winning sensation, is about to make a splash with its much-anticipated arrival in Southern California.

This beloved eatery is gearing up to welcome patrons on March 6 at the renowned Original Farmers Market, nestled right in the bustling core of the Grove.
But don’t mistake this for your typical diner. The Los Angeles flagship will serve the iconic dishes that have garnered a loyal following: Ahi Poke tacos, the California Burger—complete with a fried egg, bacon, gruyère cheese, and balsamic onions on a brioche bun—and the Kimchi Burger, featuring spicy gochujang mayo on a toasted egg bun, perfect for those craving a spicy twist.

In a first for Gott’s, the new location will offer a soft-serve window, dishing out Strauss organic vanilla and chocolate swirls. To complement the culinary delights, the menu also includes a selection of wine and beer.
“There’s a million great burgers out there, and there are at least 100 in LA,” said Gott’s co-founder Joel Gott in an interview with SFGate. “Hopefully, we’re one of those 100.”
Strategically situated at the corner of 3rd and Fairfax, the new venue spans an impressive 3,500 square feet, complete with a patio and communal picnic tables, promising an inviting space for diners to enjoy their meals.
The company has already confirmed its second LA location, which is slated to open in the fall of 2026 in Santa Monica.
