Bill Clinton recently visited California to enjoy a Sunday brunch with Governor Gavin Newsom.
The former president engaged warmly with fans outside San Francisco’s chic Waterbar restaurant, where he was all smiles and handshakes, with every moment captured by eager cameras.
Similarly, Newsom, who has been working to elevate his national presence through a memoir, various podcast appearances, and sharp commentary on Donald Trump, was also in attendance.

This gathering comes amid ongoing scrutiny of Clinton’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
Recently unearthed documents and photos from the Epstein files, showing Clinton in a pool and hot tub with Ghislaine Maxwell and an unidentified woman, have led him and Hillary to provide closed-door testimonies before the House Oversight Committee in February 2026.
The Clintons and Newsom were present at the restaurant to celebrate the birthday of Willie Brown, the influential former mayor of San Francisco and a prominent figure in California’s Democratic politics, who just turned 92.
Clinton has denied any wrongdoing and told congressional investigators he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.
He insists the photos were taken during a trip tied to his foundation work and says nothing inappropriate occurred.
But with the Epstein shadow looming — making any public appearance is a loaded political moment.
