A helicopter crash on Saturday in Huntington Beach, California was captured on video, resulting in five individuals being hospitalized, as confirmed by authorities to Fox News Digital.
Law enforcement responded at around 2 p.m. to reports of a helicopter crashing in a beach parking area between Twin Dolphins Drive and Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach.
Officials stated that the helicopter, seen in dramatic footage spinning uncontrollably before falling, was associated with the “Cars ’N Copters on the Coast” event planned for Sunday.
A spokesperson for the Huntington Beach Fire Department informed Fox News Digital, “The two occupants of the helicopter have been safely extracted from the wreckage, and three pedestrians have sustained injuries.”
Robinson told Fox News Digital he walks along the beach nearly every day, and he saw a part “flying off” the helicopter before it crashed.

He further mentioned, “As the helicopter descended, I heard a noise resembling a ping, and a part of the helicopter detached. I’m uncertain of what it was. That’s when it began to lose control and started spinning.”
The cause of the crash is not yet clear. The investigation remains ongoing, according to the City of Huntington Beach.
