U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has detained several dangerous criminal illegal immigrants in Chicago, a city known for its sanctuary policies. The crimes committed by these individuals include the sexual assault of a child family member, rape, armed robbery, and domestic violence.

These actions are part of Operation Midway Blitz, an initiative dedicated to Katie Abraham, who tragically lost her life in a drunk-driving hit-and-run accident caused by an illegal immigrant, Julio Cucul-Bol, in Illinois.

DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, “Recently in Chicago, ICE has apprehended individuals such as pedophiles, rapists, abusers, armed robbers, and others prone to violence. These are the criminal illegal immigrants that officials like Governor Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, and other proponents of sanctuary policies prioritize over law-abiding American citizens.”

DHS provided mugshots of they the department described as some of the worst of the worst offenders arrested.

The Department of Homeland Security remains committed to its mission of law enforcement and public safety, bolstering ICE’s efforts in the city in partnership with federal agencies across the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice.
