On Thursday, Israeli forces stationed in the southern Gaza Strip shot and killed a terrorist who had crossed the Yellow Line and advanced toward them, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Meanwhile, the IDF revealed that soldiers from the 98th Paratroopers Division uncovered and dismantled a network of tunnel routes stretching approximately three miles. This operation took place in the Beit Hanoun region, during engineering activities east of the Yellow Line in the northeastern part of the Strip.

In addition to the tunnels, the soldiers uncovered a cache of weapons that included explosives, grenades, launchers, rifles, and RPG rockets.

The IDF said its troops remain deployed under the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations to eliminate immediate threats and secure the western Negev.
