“This is Miyamoto. I’m delighted to share that Bo Bragason-san will portray Zelda, and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san will take on the role of Link in the live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda,” he stated. “I eagerly await their performances on the big screen.”

Miyamoto also shared a first glimpse of the actors in costume, hinting that development is ramping up on the highly anticipated film.

Bragason, a 21-year-old actress, launched her career in 2017 with a role in Three Girls. She has since been featured in Renegade Nell, The Jetty, and The Radleys. She is also set to star in the upcoming BBC series King and Conqueror.
