After a challenging defeat at the hands of the Houston Texans, along with the unfortunate season-ending injury of key player Travis Hunter, the Jacksonville Jaguars are looking to bounce back as they return to their home turf.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Following a grueling series of five consecutive away games, the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4) are set to welcome the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3) to EverBank Stadium. The much-anticipated matchup is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff as part of Week 11 in the 2025 NFL season.
Determined to turn the tide, Jaguars’ Head Coach Liam Coen emphasized the importance of getting back to the basics during a media session on Wednesday. “We’re focused on fundamentals and going back to basics,” Coen shared. “Anytime you face a tough loss, it’s crucial to delve into the details and reinforce the fundamentals with the players.”
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence echoed this sentiment, acknowledging the need to move forward from their previous game. “We didn’t finish the game [against the Texans] well, and we own that. We have to move on and go try to beat a really good Chargers team this week,” Lawrence stated. “That’s the thing about the NFL; it doesn’t let up. You can’t dwell on the past because each game is equally significant.”
