Jennifer Lopez looked dressed for revenge as she wowed in a plunging black gown  with a floor-length cape while attending opening night of Good Night, and Good Luck.

As she prepared to watch George Clooney make his Broadway debut, all eyes were on the global superstar, 55, as she strutted down the red carpet on Thursday night.

For the occasion, the mom-of-two showed her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, what he’s missing in her daring look, which she accessorized with a statement necklace and tiny clutch.

After making her stylish entrance to the event, the On The Floor hitmaker took off her  detachable cloak as she posed for photographers at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

Good Night, and Good Luck is based on Clooney’s 2005 film of the same name which he previously wrote, directed and starred in.

In addition to Lopez, Uma Thurman, Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Gayle King were also in attendance.

Lopez’s latest appearance comes after her ex-husband showed off his own makeover at CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas.

While promoting his upcoming film The Accountant 2, Affleck, 52, unveiled a freshly dyed hair style and beard rather than his usual salt-and-pepper look.

Last month, the Gone Girl star shed some light on the breakdown of his marriage to Lopez in an candid interview with British GQ.

A source told DailyMail.com that he made the decision to speak out about the breakup publicly for the first time because he was ‘so over’ the narrative that painted him as the bad guy and Lopez the ‘victim.’

The Batman actor reportedly also hoped it would give him the ‘closure’ that he desperately ‘needed’ and ‘stop the constant questions’ about their split so he can move on and ‘focus’ on his ‘career and family.’

‘He is so over this divorce and the narrative that he was grumpy and that Jen was a victim,’ that insider revealed.

After being married in July 2022, the former couple were separated 19 months later, in April of last year.

That source maintains Affleck ‘never planned to address their divorce’ publicly but ultimately felt he needed to clear the air following his ex-wife’s shock comments to Interview magazine last October.

At the time, the singer and actress described the breakup as the ‘hardest time in her life’ and said her ‘whole f**king world exploded,’ but added that it ‘lead her to where she wanted to go.’

But all the while, ‘Ben had never planned to address their divorce because it is a private matter, and he respects Jen,’ the source explained.

‘But after she spoke about him to Interview magazine he decided it was time to say what he had to say in the nicest way possible.’

During his interview with British GQ – which took place in late January and early February but hit stands earlier this week – Affleck admitted that he and JLo had different views on fame.

‘There are a lot of people who I think have handled celebrity more adeptly and more adroitly than I have, Jennifer among them,’ he said.

‘My temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers. As happens in relationships, you don’t always have the same attitude towards these things.’

As for what went wrong, he insisted that ‘there’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue’ when it came to the demise of their marriage.

‘I guess there’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something,’ he continued.

He insisted that there was no ‘big event’ that lead to their breakup, and confessed that talking about the split felt ’embarrassing’ and ‘vulnerable.’

He concluded by stating that he has ‘nothing but respect’ for his ex-wife.

Earlier this year in January, Lopez and Affleck’s divorce was settled but they weren’t declared legally single until last month on February 21 when the marriage was legally dissolved.

It comes shortly after it was revealed that the singer is ‘ready to date again’ after her divorce from Affleck was finalized.

‘Jennifer wants to be in love again,’ a source informed DailyMail.com last week, after the star took time to ‘heal her broken heart.’

The insider then revealed that the actress has interest in an actor from the hit Yellowstone series.

‘She had a crush on Rip Wheeler from Yellowstone and wants a guy like that, someone who can have her back and make sure she is OK. She wants to be put first and made to feel special.’

The source added, ‘Her life is a lot, she needs a man who can handle all that and still love her unconditionally like the way Rip love Beth Dutton.’

In regards to her plans for the year, Lopez ‘wants this summer to be amazing after a tough start to the year.’

The beauty is set to begin filming her new Netflix project called Office Romance alongside Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein – who has shared in the past that he has a ‘crush’ on the performer.

A separate insider told DailyMail.com, ‘After a very tough start to 2025, Jennifer can’t wait to start a new project and it certainly helps that she will be working with a very handsome and smart star like Brett.

‘He is one hot ticket and a real class act with talent to back it up – he not only acts but he writes amazing scripts. He is like the younger, better, British version of Ben. She thinks he is very cute.’

The source continued, ‘It will be a reminder to Ben that she is still hot property in Hollywood and how can that not make her feel great?

‘She is 55 and is still a box office dynamo. This will just be another reminder of that. Ben knows who Brett is, he is plenty aware. Brett is younger and smarter than Ben. It will irk him for sure.’
