Former Vice President Kamala Harris has clarified recent rumors: she will not be pursuing the position of California governor next year or any other public office.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Harris expressed her deep respect for those committed to public service on behalf of their communities and the nation. She also acknowledged that politics and government have often let down the American people, leading to the current challenges. She emphasized the need for innovative approaches and fresh ideas that stay true to core values but aren’t restricted by traditional methods.

Harris mentioned her plans to focus on reconnecting with the American public, supporting Democratic candidates nationwide, and planning to disclose more about her future endeavors in the coming months.

Prior to her vice presidency, Harris has a history of public service in California, having served as a U.S. senator, the state’s attorney general, and the district attorney of San Francisco.

This is a developing story.
