Kanye West storms out of Piers Morgan interview over X follower count

We miss the old Kanye.

During an interview with Piers Morgan on Tuesday, May 6, Kanye West became visibly upset and removed his earpiece before leaving abruptly. The former “Good Morning Britain” host later commented on Kanye’s sudden departure.

Taking to social media post-interview, Morgan, 60, ripped West, 47, a new one.

“UPDATE: I interviewed Kanye West again today. As I expected, given what I’ve said about him recently, it didn’t last long or go well,” Morgan captioned a screenshot of West from the unpleasant sit-down.

“This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby before I could ask him why he’s become a vile, Hitler-loving, Nazi-slathering, anti-Semitic p—k,” he added before sharing the footage on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

Hours later, the famous presenter shared footage showing what set West off.

Morgan was gassing the rapper up, mentioning West has 32 million X followers while trying to explain the power his words have on his fanbase.

The “All of the Lights” musician’s anti-Semitic comments on X have been making headlines for months, with West even going on rants while wearing a KKK hood.

However, West seemingly took issue with the number of followers Morgan claimed he had. At the time of this post, the rapper has 33.3 million followers on X.

“You’re not gonna take inches off my d–k, bro,” West interrupted before arguing over the amount of his X followers.

“I’m a gift,” the artist added. He then jumbled himself into the likes of Michael Jackson and John Lennon.

When Morgan tried to steer West back on track, all hell broke loose.

A pissed off West insisted Morgan wasn’t “taken accountability” and ended the interview by saying, “This is what you get for now. We can circle back when you can count.”

The rapper removed his earpiece and stormed out, leaving his colleague named Sneako to awkwardly pick up the pieces.

Sneako, however, also grew frustrated with Morgan’s line of questioning and ditched the interview after the British news host repeatedly called West “a sniveling little coward.”

“A massive d–k,” Morgan described West in the caption of the video.

The “Donda” rapper has been in Majorca, Spain, which is where he took his virtual interview with Morgan.

Despite going to blow with West, Morgan defended having the controversial artist on his show.

“The reason I wanted to get him on was because I don’t think anyone holds him to account for anything he does on X, and in fact, he deliberately breaches all of X’s rules, and yet he does it with impunity and is allowed to do it, whereas millions of other accounts get suspended for far less offences [sic],” Morgan said.

“So I was going to ask him directly, why I mentioned his X following, I was going to ask him about what he puts on X and why he does this? Why he continually attacks Jewish people, why he continually celebrates Adolf Hitler?”

The Post reached out to West’s rep for comment.

This isn’t the first time Morgan and West exchanged words.

The pair also had a heated exchange in 2022 after West declared he was “going death con 3” on Jewish people.
