WASHINGTON — Keith Powers and Ryan Destiny are officially engaged!

The two actors announced their engagement on October 5 through a joint Instagram post, featuring a romantic photo shoot that highlighted Destiny’s beautiful diamond ring.

The slideshow of images included shots of the couple lounging on a couch, sharing takeout, goofing off, and embracing each other through a window.

“Engaged to the love of my life,” the caption said.

The announcement sparked an outpouring of love from both celebrity friends and fans.

“I love you guys sm,” Chloe Bailey commented. Lori Harvey added, “Omg omg omg!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!.”

Joey King, Powers’ “Uglies” co-star, wrote, “You guys!!!!! These pictures!!!! Congratulations,” along with several heart-eye emojis.

Powers expressed gratitude for the support in an Instagram Story the same day, stating, “Thank you for all the beautiful messages and love. Truly. A whirlwind of love all around.”

Destiny also acknowledged the creative team behind their photos, describing it as “not your normal engagement shoot” and applauding the photographers as “some of the most patient, kind, talented & beautiful humans I know.”

The engagement signifies a full-circle moment for the couple, who first crossed paths at a Teen Vogue party in 2015 and started dating in 2018. In 2022, they reportedly separated after four years, but by early 2025, they confirmed they had rekindled their relationship.

“I just love him so much and I just appreciate him every step of the way,” Destiny, 30, shared with People in February. “He’s such a cheerleader for me, as I am for him. It just means everything.”
