On Saturday, a large number of individuals are anticipated to gather in numerous cities throughout the United States. Their aim is to demonstrate against the Trump administration and provide a counterpoint to the president’s military parade in Washington, D.C., which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Army. Additionally, today marks Flag Day, a holiday that observes the adoption of the American flag on June 14, 1777.

The counter-protesters are framing their demonstrations under the slogan “No Kings,” describing it as a “day of defiance” against Trump and his allies while other have been calling for the president to be “dethroned.”
