Khloé Kardashian has responded forcefully to what she describes as “gross commentary” surrounding her brother-in-law, Amari Thompson, who is disabled, attending a dance class.

In a video shared on her Instagram Stories over the weekend, the Good American co-founder addressed the criticism directly. “Last time I posted Amari in his dance class, I received some ridiculous commentary questioning, ‘How is this dance? Does he even know what’s going on?’” she stated, visibly frustrated by the comments.

Khloé continued by expressing her disdain for such remarks, saying, “All of this gross commentary that I don’t need and no one needs.” She emphasized that if people have never experienced life with someone who has special needs, they should refrain from commenting on their interests or happiness. “And if you don’t like this type of content, you don’t have to watch it. We’re all good over here,” she asserted.

The reality star, 41, also mentioned her intention to share “a few videos” from Amari’s dance class, with permission. Her goal is to shine a spotlight on the remarkable dance academy that offers so much to children with special needs. “I want to highlight such an amazing dance academy that does so much for special children,” Khloé explained, underscoring the importance of celebrating inclusivity and joy in all forms.

Kardashian, 41, then said she would be posting a “few videos” from Amari’s dance class that the reality star was “given permission” to share.

“I want to highlight such an amazing dance academy that does so much for special children,” she explained.

“And it’s so beautiful and it’s so special and these kids are so happy,” the “Kardashians” star shared.

Kardashian then shared videos of Amari — who has LGS [Lennox-Gastaut syndrome], a form of epilepsy — enjoying dance class.

In one of the clips, dance instructors spun the 19-year-old around as he smiled in his specialized power wheelchair.

Kardashian also shared a photo of herself and some of the dance teachers posing alongside Amari for a photo.

“I’m so thankful for places like this and for human beings like this!” she wrote atop the snap.

In July, the Hulu star revealed that she became the main caretaker for Amari due to Tristan’s busy NBA career.

Kardashian said he ex and Amari’s mother, Andrea Thompson, was the “sole caretaker” for the teen in Canada until she passed away from a heart attack in January 2023.

After Andrea’s death, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum — along with her family and the Cleveland Cavaliers player — “took Amari back with us to the States.”

“Tristan is in the NBA and he is in a different state, literally, every other day or every few days, and it’s just not conducive for Amari to be on that many planes,” she explained.

“Amari has a handful of seizures a day with the type of epilepsy that he has.”

Kardashian now keeps Amari in Los Angeles with her and hired two “sensational caretakers” to help care for him.

Kardashian, who shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with Tristan, 34, said she believes having Amari around is “important” for her kids, nieces and nephews “to be exposed to all different types of people in the world.”

Tristan first filed for temporary guardianship over the teen in September 2023, claiming their father, Trevor Thompson, had played no role in raising Amari since 2014.

The athlete was allowed to manage his brother’s finances — including the $103,475 inheritance he received from his late mother — and to travel both domestically and internationally with him, in addition to making decisions on his living arrangements and more.

Tristan and Kardashian split for good in 2021 after Maralee Nichols filed a paternity lawsuit against the former Los Angeles Lakers player over her son, Theo, who was born in December of that year.
