The Los Angeles Unified School District is set to convene a private meeting this Thursday following a raid by federal authorities on offices and properties associated with Alberto Carvalho, the superintendent of LA schools.
The agenda for the meeting lists a “closed session” scheduled for 4 p.m., where officials will address allegations of fraud and corruption involving Carvalho, who leads the second-largest school district in the United States.

On Wednesday, federal agents executed search warrants at Carvalho’s residence in San Pedro, his office located in downtown Los Angeles, and a property in Miami linked to him.
Authorities have stated that the affidavit supporting the search warrants is currently sealed.
