BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Some central Alabama schools will be closed or operating on a delay on Monday because of the threat of severe weather.

Here’s a list of the schools that will be impacted:

  • Advent Episcopal School
    • Advent Episcopal School will operate on a two-hour delay Monday.
  • Alabaster City Schools
    • Alabaster City Schools will be closed Monday.
  • Altamont School
    • The Altamont School will have an e-learning day Monday.
  • Attalla City Schools
    • Attalla City Schools will operate on a three-hour delay Monday.
  • Bessemer Academy
    • Bessemer Academy will operate on a two-hour delay Monday.
  • Bessemmer City Schools
    • Bessemer City Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday.
  • Bibb County Schools
    • Bibb County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Monday.
  • Blount County Schools
    • Blount County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Monday.
  • Briarwood Christian School
    • Briarwood Christian School will operate on a two-hour delay Monday.
