SAN DIEGO — Not only is Matt Groening the creator of “The Simpsons,” but he’s also the owner of a special themed guest bedroom!

The creators of the long-standing series recently made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, where they participated in an autograph session. During a conversation with On The Red Carpet at this major pop culture gathering, Groening shared details about his distinctive room, saying, “I have a guest bedroom that’s entirely ‘Simpsons’ themed. It includes ‘Simpsons’ bed sheets, pillows, a lamp, wallpaper, and even draperies.”

What does Groening enjoy most about this unique room in his home? With humor, Groening mentioned, “The best part about having a ‘Simpsons’ guest bedroom is that guests usually stay only for a single night.”

Watch Groening, alongside producer David Silverman and writers Matt Selman and Michael Price, as they discuss the show’s upcoming guest stars, their appearance on the cover of “TIME” magazine, and the Emmy nomination for Outstanding Animated Program.

Fans can watch all 36 seasons of “The Simpsons” streaming on Disney+ now and season 37 premieres tonight.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney+ and this ABC station.
