Maury Povich didn’t hold back when it came to getting playful about his sex life with his wife of 40 years Connie Chung.

The legendary TV host, 86, was joined by his equally iconic broadcaster wife, 78, for the premiere episode of his podcast On Par with Maury, released Monday.

After an in-depth chat about their storied careers, the couple spiced things up with a candid Q&A session, answering fan-submitted questions.

When it was Connie’s turn, she pulled a slip of paper from a jar, blushed, and giggled as she read aloud: ‘I feel sexiest when?’

Maury immediately cracked up before coyly responding, ‘I feel sexiest on Sundays.’

While they didn’t spell things out, Connie clearly caught on to the suggestive tone, playfully countering, ‘Never on Sundays,’ to which Maury sarcastically shot back, ‘Not in OUR house.’

‘It’s always been,’ he continued. ‘Everybody says, “Can we play golf on Sunday?” I say, “Nope. Sundays are with Connie.”’

At that, Connie simply zipped her lips with a cheeky gesture, letting the moment speak for itself.

They may have left some things to the imagination, but their flirty back-and-forth made it pretty clear what they were hinting at.

The couple’s love story began in the newsroom, with their paths first crossing in 1969 at WTTG in Washington, D.C.

The duo reunited years later at KNXT in Los Angeles, where they co-anchored the news.

Chung had made waves as a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent for CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite during the height of the Watergate scandal before eventually moving to KNXT.

She went on to build an illustrious career as a journalist, working for major networks like ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC, cementing her status as one of the most respected news anchors in the industry.

Their professional relationship soon turned personal, and after six years of dating, they made it official, tying the knot on December 2, 1984.

Eleven years into their marriage, they expanded their family, adopting their son Matthew in June 1995.

Meanwhile, Povich took a different route, gaining national recognition as the host of the sensationalist news show A Current Affair before launching his own wildly successful talk show, The Maury Povich Show, in 1991.

Though they’ve stepped back from the daily grind of TV news, both remain active in their own ways.

Even after decades in the spotlight, this powerhouse couple proves they’ve still got plenty to say—and plenty of chemistry to keep fans entertained.
