Anti-ICE Agitators Wreak More Havoc in Minneapolis

In Minneapolis on Saturday, tensions escalated as anti-ICE protesters clashed with a group that included Jake Lang, a former defendant from the January 6th Capitol events and known for his anti-Islam stance.

The confrontation was notably captured on video by journalist Julio Rosas, offering a raw glimpse into the chaotic scene.

Note: The following videos contain graphic language.

Lang reported that he was allegedly stabbed during the altercation; however, he credited his protective plate carrier with preventing injury. Despite this, footage shows Lang being repeatedly hit and kicked by several individuals.

Lang claimed that he was stabbed in the melee, but that a plate carrier that he was wearing blocked it. He appeared to be hit and kicked multiple times by multiple people.

SWAT finally showed up, but it sounds like they didn’t stick around very long, as the anti-ICE folks abused them. So much for that; it looks like they ultimately just pulled out.

Then the mob chased some guy who was wearing a “freedom” shirt and demanded he take it off, calling him a “Nazi.” They told him, “Take it off, and you won’t get hurt.”

I’m not sure who he was or what the objection to a shirt with “freedom” was, but the guy ended up taking it off so he could get out of there.

This is what the Minneapolis officials are allowing to happen on their streets now, and if they don’t get it in hand, they’re going to have someone else get badly hurt.

I reported on Saturday how the anti-ICE crew was harassing some random tech guys who they thought were ICE at a deli. On top of that, there was an email that said the city was keeping track of ICE activity and was in contact with community groups. So not only aren’t they keeping the peace in the streets, they may be aiding the chaos.

As we reported, the Department of Justice is looking into the actions of Minnesota officials, including Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, regarding inciting anti-ICE actions.
