The sister-in-law of Mitt Romney, a former presidential candidate and current senator from Utah, was discovered deceased on a street in a suburb of Los Angeles on Friday evening, according to authorities and reports.
Carrie Elizabeth Romney was discovered dead on a street near a shopping mall parking garage in Valencia, Calif. at around 8:30 p.m., TMZ reported.
She was 64 years old. While her death remains under investigation, her body is ready to be released, as noted in records from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s homicide bureau, it’s possible that the 64-year-old woman either fell or jumped from a multi-story parking garage. However, there is no suspicion of foul play, as reported by the outlet.
