Idaho authorities have released an Amber Alert concerning two missing teenagers believed to be traveling to Utah due to their “religious beliefs,” as stated by officials and local media.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office suspects that Allen Larand Fischer, aged 13, and Rachelle Leray Fischer, aged 15, both part of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FDLS), departed from their home in Monteview, Idaho, on or around June 22, intending to go back to Trenton, Utah, where they once lived.
Their older sister, Elintra Dee Fischer, 18, was declared missing on January 1, 2023. Authorities believe the teenagers “voluntarily left to return to Trenton, Utah due to their religious beliefs.”
On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said that through the course of its investigation, “detectives have been unable to find concrete evidence regarding a vehicle Rachelle and Allen Fischer may have left in.”

Authorities believe Rachelle and Allen’s older sister, Elintra, who disappeared in Jan. 2023, may be taking her two siblings back to Utah, but that information has not been confirmed, according to FOX 13. (Jefferson Co. Sheriff’s Office)
