In TUCSON, Ariz., the FBI has released photos of a “subject” linked to the investigation of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.
FBI Director Kash Patel shared the images on X, featuring a masked individual standing near the entrance of the Guthrie residence.
“Over the past eight days, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have collaborated with private sector partners to retrieve any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or otherwise inaccessible,” Patel stated. He noted that issues such as the removal of recording devices contributed to these challenges.
“The footage was salvaged from residual data found on backend systems. As a result of our joint efforts, law enforcement has now revealed these once-inaccessible images. The photos depict an armed person appearing to interfere with the front door camera of Nancy Guthrie’s home on the morning she went missing,” Patel explained.
Nancy Guthrie, aged 84, is the mother of NBC’s “Today” anchor Savannah Guthrie. She has been missing since Sunday, February 1.
At this time, authorities have not identified any suspects in the ongoing investigation.
