Socialist NY Rep Crashes and Burns on Global Stage, Serves Up Kamala-Style Word Salad

Traditionally, American politicians have adhered to an unspoken rule: refrain from criticizing the United States while abroad. However, this norm seems to be shifting, evidenced by California Governor Gavin Newsom’s recent remarks at the 62nd Munich Security Conference in Germany. Instead of addressing the myriad of issues facing California, Newsom has chosen to openly criticize the President of the United States during his international appearance.

Joining him in this critique is Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York, a democratic socialist who is advocating for a global wealth tax at the same conference. This proposal echoes a similar initiative in California that has prompted many wealthy individuals to leave the state.

Ocasio-Cortez, closely allied with Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and New York City’s socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani, is rumored to be eyeing a potential run for the Senate or even the presidency. However, her grasp of international policy was called into question when she struggled to provide a coherent answer to a straightforward inquiry during the conference.

Her response, which has quickly drawn attention, could soon become infamous for its lack of clarity.

This tortured non-answer could soon become legend:

INTERVIEWER: Should the US actually commit U.S. troops to defend Taiwan if China were to move?

AOC: Um…

You know, I think that, uh…

This is such a, uh, you know, I think that this is a, um…

This is, of course, a very long standing policy of the United States, and I think what we are hoping for is that we want to make sure that we never get to that point, and we want to make sure that we are moving in all of our economic research and our global positions to avoid any such confrontation.

And for that question to even arise.

Failed Democrat 2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris is certain to be consumed by jealousy tonight, as AOC just took the word salad crown (at least temporarily). “She stole my stuff!” you can almost imagine her shrieking.

The internet was a harsh judge:

AOC: “Um, you know, I think that, uhh, eh, this is such a, uh, you know, I th-I think that this is a, umm, this is of course a, uh, a very longstanding, um, policy.”

WTF?!

They’re gonna run her for president? LMAO. Brutal.

You might think a far-left socialist who can’t discuss a coherent policy would be DOA as a candidate for higher office — but ask New Yorkers or Virginians about that right about now.

AOC might want to prep for that question the next time around. Also, saying we should take steps to avoid a situation does not mean that we shouldn’t be prepared for it to happen. What she’s saying is that she has absolutely no clue what she would do if China did attack Taiwan; yet, as we all know, that’s a very real possibility.

Should AOC decide to take the plunge and run for the Senate or the White House, she’s going to need to take many classes to learn how not to sound ill-informed and completely clueless. Otherwise, she will find herself on the failure heap alongside the Reigning Queen of the Word Salad, Kamala Harris.

Or perhaps they could join a wine club together?

Editor’s Note: President Trump is leading America into the “Golden Age” as Democrats try desperately to stop it.
