Newly released video footage, unveiled on Saturday, captures the moments leading up to the tragic shooting of a Minneapolis woman by a federal agent, as reported by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The DHS shared a video on its X account, featuring a three-and-a-half-minute clip captured by a bystander from a nearby residence. The footage reveals the presence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and several vehicles stationed on a residential street.

In the video, the persistent sound of a car horn can be heard, accompanied by the continuous blast of a whistle. The camera eventually focuses on a Honda Pilot, identified as belonging to Renee Nicole Good, parked conspicuously in the middle of the street.

“The media continues to fail the American people in their reporting on the events in Minneapolis,” stated DHS in their post. “New evidence shows that the anti-ICE agitator was STALKING and IMPEDING a law enforcement operation throughout the morning.”

The DHS also expressed criticism towards the media, asserting, “The evidence speaks for itself. The legacy media has lost the trust of the American people.”

The circumstances that led to her death have ignited a firestorm of criticism of the Trump administration and ICE.

Federal officials have defended the ICE agent’s actions as self-defense and described the Minneapolis shooting as an act of “domestic terrorism,” while Democratic leaders have rejected that characterization and sharply condemned the officer’s conduct.
