Mar-a-Lago shotgun-wielding madman ID'd as North Carolina golf course artist

The man fatally shot while attempting to breach Mar-a-Lago armed with a shotgun and a gas can has been identified as a missing artist from North Carolina. Authorities have confirmed that the individual was 21-year-old Austin Tucker Martin from Cameron, North Carolina.

Martin was killed by law enforcement early Sunday morning, as reported by officials. Prior to the incident, his mother had already alerted authorities about his disappearance on Saturday.

Investigators are currently looking into the possibility that Martin acquired the firearm while traveling to Florida.

Martin’s social media presence also reveals a deep interest in illustrating golf course landscapes, particularly featuring the renowned Pinehurst area within the Sandhills region.
