KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday when a woman lost her life after shots were fired, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities, including the Tennessee Highway Patrol and KCSO, arrived at the scene around 4:40 p.m. at the Weigel’s on Central Avenue Pike. The initial reports suggested that the woman might have been experiencing suicidal thoughts. Details of the events leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
